Technically, I picked this tomato yesterday, in September, but it seemed much more appropriate to wait until October to post it here. This tomato is literally unaltered from the its moment of vine separation, save for roughly 24 hours of indoor ripening. Hopefully this tomato, like our recently-cracked-open avocado pit, does not attack us in the middle of the night. I think I should probably be more worried about this tomato...
If I let it sit on the counter until the end of the month, we'll have something really scary to show the trick-or-treaters!
